When creating anchor text and description, consider the search results of pay-per-click advertising. Ads that have the first letter of each word capitalized receive the highest click-through rate implemented in the anchor text and description. Inbound links are not only useful for higher search engine rankings, but also for traffic. I've seen sites get 25% of their traffic from inbound links!
When buying links for a site, you need to decide whether you will only accept links from sites of a relevant topic, pages of a relevant topic, or sites and pages of any topic. For example, if your site is a travel related site, it will only accept links from other travel related websites / web pages or any website / web page. This decision has a great influence on your success, as it can affect drastically your link acquisition campaign. Most search engine optimization professionals believe that you should only accept links from relevant thematic websites.
