 2 Marketing Strategies To Make Money Online With Affiliate Programs!

The first strategy to make money online is to create a list.

This strategy is the most important step in continuing to make money in the long run. If you don't already have some kind of autoresponder system, you should get one. Don't be cheap here either because your whole business will depend on this single software.

You can create your list in many different ways. You can acquire clients from reputable directory building companies and put them in your autoresponder. Most good list building companies will have the ability to email your autoresponder so you don't have to manually enter lead information.

Another effective way to build your list is from the traffic that visits your website. This step, which is probably the most effective, requires that you have a website to implement a sign-up list form. Of course, if your affiliate program offers a list management service, you can send traffic to the affiliate's URL, but I don't recommend this as you won't usually be able to email the entire list with special offers. To get the most out of your subscription module and get the most subscriptions, you need to insert it into the text of your sales page. It should be strategically placed in the sales copy after presenting an issue. The title of your autoresponder email series should address the problem by offering a solution. In the example below, we'll assume I'm selling a hosting package and want optional subscribers to my backend sales email course.

The second strategy for making money online is to drive traffic to your website.

When I say traffic, I don't just mean old traffic, I mean targeted traffic, motivated and ready to buy people can and will make money. You can use programs and techniques such as Google Adwords, blogging, article writing and links to drive targeted traffic to your website. GoogleAdwords is a resource offered by Google where you can pay to view your site when certain keywords are requested on your search engine.

The secret to using Adwords is not to place high bids on the most popular keywords. Instead, what you need to do is look for similar keywords that still describe your website, but are used much less frequently. These keywords will cost a lot less to bid and allow you to spread your money across many different keywords, getting the most out of your investment. Blogs are another great way to generate targeted traffic to your website. To take full advantage of this technique, the blog must be hosted on the same website as the sales page with links to your affiliate program. Once set up, all you need to do is fill your blog with good quality content.

I recommend that you write your content that relates specifically to your affiliate program or products. Once you have some content, you will need to submit your RSS feed to as many blog search engines as possible. This will make your blog available for other webmasters to use as content sources on their websites. This win-win situation allows webmasters to have quality content on their website, increasing the value of that website and driving targeted traffic directly to you.

This is done using the URL link that you conveniently placed under your name after the blog was written. This means that your link is in a blog feed found on thousands of websites. Not only do people click on those links, but Google sees these links pointing to you and thinks you are popular and rewarded with a higher page rank.

Article writing is basically the same as blogging, except that the information in an article should have more useful content and be peppered with keywords that webmasters are looking for. After completing your article, you will submit (distribute) it to content sites rather than blog search engines.

Content sites are places where webmasters look for specific content to offer their readers. If you are a good writer, at some point you can make a name for yourself and agree with a webmaster to write exclusives for your site. Your readers get great, exclusive content and you get highly motivated targeted traffic.

Linking is perhaps the most used way to increase traffic and page rank. However, if done incorrectly, you could end up damaging your Google page ranking and ultimately losing potential buyers. You will need your own website for this technique as you will need a link page to insert your reciprocal links.

Many people submit their URL links to link farms in an attempt to trick Google into providing them with better page rank. This does not work; in fact, Google is known to penalize websites for engaging in these activities.

The secret to linking is to find websites in your niche that have a Google Page Rank of 4 or higher and entice the webmaster to include your link on their website. You might think you would help the competition, well, you would. But the competition would help you too. It's better to send outbound traffic to a partner than to just close their browser window and remember that it works both ways.

The strategies listed in this article work and will increase your sales and waste if done correctly. Reciprocal linking, blogging, and article writing are great ways to drive massive amounts of high-quality targeted traffic to your website.           There are many excuses as to why people don't buy. You may have heard a few: it's too expensive, it's not at the top of my "must-have" list right now, or even when a deal is too good to be true ... it's too good to be true. Customer objections are more easily overcome than one might think. Let's take a look at three simple ways to eliminate these objections.

      1. Is it very expensive. Don't be fooled! Most of your customers can get the money to buy the product ... it's not about getting enough. Let's face it ... what they're really saying is that they can get a better deal elsewhere, or a deal that gives them better value for money.

Now, don't give in to the temptation to "drop" your prices just because you hear them say it's too expensive. There are ways to eliminate these objections without eliminating your earnings!


Make it look like a better deal. I mean, take a look at your product. How to increase the perceived value? Maybe you can add a manual, CD, or downloadable book full of product information. Let them think they are getting more for their money and the deal will seem a lot sweeter to them.

Think about this ... we all expect to pay more when we visit a specialist. Sure, Wal-Mart is great if we're looking for a generic product, but when we want something from someone who knows what they're talking about, we turn to a market "specialist" ... and expect to pay a little more as part of the 'agreement.

How can you become a specialist who demands respect and can get away with slightly higher prices?

Find niches within your market to address. Hey, if you look closely, you'll discover groups within your market that stand out ... entrepreneur men and women, young mothers, retirees, etc.

”Dig deeper, do some research and find out exactly how your product relates to the special needs of these specialist groups. Talk to them as someone who is informed. Review your sales materials to meet the specific needs of each group. Let them know you understand what they want and what they need and watch your profits skyrocket.

      2. I have more important things to do right now. Yes, buying now doesn't seem too important as long as ... the deal is too good to pass up, and you need to do it today to get the deal.

What I'm talking about is banning the procrastination option. Actually what your customer is saying is ... I have no reason to buy today. Make the deal irresistible and set a deadline. It will inspire them to make purchasing a priority NOW. 

     3. I'm skeptical ... it's too good to be true. Most customers have been impressed with offers that seem too good to be true ... they ended up costing more than they were worth. The only way to overcome skepticism is to build a relationship of trust.
